Best way to simply generate charts through days and locations from json data using javascript?

Question

I have a json file that contains crowdsensig data(from different locations and days) and i need to display it through charts on my page.I understand how to draw a chart and access the json data using ajax,but i can do it only for a single chart.

I have to do differents charts on selecting the day and location,but the file is too big and i don't know how to generate different data on a single chart by selecting day and location.Location has its ing and lat ,and sensing data has frequency and amplitude.

This seems to be more of a data-structure question. If I personally would be presented with this problem I would take a look at binary trees. Then I would take all my data and insert it into the tree sorted by my criteria (long, lat, freq, amp).

As the size of your file seems to be of relevance we should take a look at runtimes:
The runtime of the tree initialisation should be fine. A complexity of a bit over O(n*log n) and worst O(n*n) depending on your data, which is usually fine.
Searching the tree for entries would be O(n).

Using the binary tree you could then do search queries like:

(longitude > 40° && longitude < 60°) ||  (freq < 1 || amp > 40)

That's just my take on your situation. It might be completely wrong too, as your problem is not really that clear to me.

Edit: I should add that this is a bit more on the advanced side of things but not at all something to be intimidated by.
