FirebaseAuth.getInstance() crash

Question

im making an that contains a login system and after the login we go to the main activity there you have a navigation drawer activity. before when i started my login system worked very well but i had an empty main activity with just logout button. but now i changed my main activity to a navigation drawer activity. and here i got the crash and when i debug i found that the crash was on FirebaseAuth.getInstance() and when i go inside the code i find that the ActivityThread.java class is full of errors like you can see in the photo and i have tried FirebaseApp.initializeApp(Context) and it does not work so please can anyone tell me why its keep crashing.
