How do you append a new row in an excisting excel file using python with multiple columns?

I want to be able to create a new candidate Here is the code that I used to try and add a new candidate to the existing excel file but it gives me these errors . The start of the code looks like this I originally tried to make a DataFrame and add it to the current existing excel file but it does not seem like it is working. Looking for ideas that will add all of the information I want into the existing excel file.

As requested here is the Repl.it link for the code to try it out on your own I can't link the excel file because of privacy issues if you need to see that as well I will create an example excel sheet
