System has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate. Failed to connect to bus: Host is down

Unable change localhost name by this method and timezone?

If you edit /etc/hostname , you can change your hostname to anything you want.

From this:

localhost

To:

your-hostname-here

And then, you reboot the machine. Your new hostname SHOULD show up, and any services using that name must be routed to that IP address of that machine.
