My uploaded file on gdrive doesn't belong to me?

I recently can't trash, move nor edit the files I uploaded on gdrive. If it's a pic I can ss it n upload it again 4 it to work. I can't attach it to gclass either. When I use the 'owned files' filter, it's always owned ny someone else even tho I am the one who uploaded it. I am always logged into my acc. I don't think it has anything to do with my acc being a school acc cause my friends don't have the same problem. I really need to know this soon so I could submit my assignments. Thank you.

So I figured it out. When I upload my files in gdrive, I accidentally open the shared folder and then press upload. Even tho the location isn't in the shared folder, it still gets owned by the same people. Thus, I do not have individual ownership for it. All I had to do was upload the file again after pressing my priority page.
