How to use keyboard to toggle between integrated terminal and code editor with Vim extensions in VS Code?

I am using Vim extension in VS code. In Vim to toggle between windows, I can use Ctrl + W, then jhk l. And indeed I can still use this shortcut when switching from code editor to another window like the terminal or the file panel. However, when the cursor is focused in the terminal window, I cannot use the same command to go back to the code editor which is annoying. Anyone knows a way around or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Sorry for being silly, I thought I tried Ctrl + the number key. But apparently I didn't, and that works fine.
