WSL2: Stuck on Downloading Visual Studio when using code . command after installing VSCODE under windows

Question

Hi after entering the following command in windows powershell in admin mode:

netsh interface portproxy add v4tov4 listenport=8000 listenaddress=0.0.0.0 connectport=8000 connectaddress=192.168.224.1

and typing code. in WSL2 code. in WSL2 , the download gets stuck can you please write a straight forward resolution for this issue?.

The download link given in your output refers to the vscode installation package of linux.

Why not try to open the official website and install vscode directly?
