I cannot create a DNS zone in Google Cloud DNS

I am trying to create a DNS zone in a project with billing active, but the attempt fails with the following message:

This API method requires billing to be enabled. Please enable billing on the project by visiting https://console.developers.google.com/billing/enable then retry. If you enabled billing for this project recently, wait a few minutes for the action to propagate to our systems and retry

Request ID: xxx

The project has already billing active, what happened was that in December I have received a new business credit card, and so I changed it in the gcp account, also disabled and enabled again the billing for the project, but still receive a failure.

  1. Kindly check the billing account and see if the new card went through without any error or problems.
  2. Verify the billing status of your project. Make sure that the correct billing account is assigned to the project. You can confirm the status of the linked Cloud Billing account by following this article
  3. Check the GCP Console for past due amounts

The process of reauthorizing the billing information on your account after making a change (ie credit card modification) isn't instant so you will have to wait it out.

If this fails, please contact support for further assistance
