This code intends to sum a column of decimal values but throws an exception at the int.Parse()
line. Please see near the end of this post for how I tried revise the code to correct this and the error I received with that attempt.

I tried to replace int.Parse() with Decimal.Parse() but it tells me:

After changing int.Parse()
to Decimal.Parse()
I do not see where there is an int
to convert.
Please help me with this code to achieve my goal.

The conversion is almost certainly outside the LINQ statement: if sum is an int, that's where an explicit cast would be needed. Declaring sum as decimal or inserting an explicit cast would fix the problem:
