Javascript based grid/data table

Question

Can someone please help me to shortlist a javascript based grid/data table. I have some RnD and list some of the grids.

JS based grid components

Java based frameworks that translate to js would could also be the choice.

I'd say Datatables is probably the best choice. I have used it in many projects. I used jqGrid once... it was ok, but I think Datatables is superior

I just want to plug this here for anyone with this kind of requirement, you can consider SmartGWT and its rich set of UI components and widgets. It can render written Java and run it as JavaScript in the browser, keeping all functionality intact.

There is a free OSS (LGPL) version that you can quickly connect to REST microservices.
