ajax request didn't retrieve value of textarea after posting data

Question

i coded a comment system using jquery,but the problem is that the ajax request didn't show the posted data without loading page,although the data is added successfully in db

how can i show the posted data after clicking the submit button

You are appending the HTML you get back from submitting the comment:

success: function(html){ 
  $("ol#update").append(html);

… but the script you submit the comment to doesn't return any HTML, so you are appending a blank document.

Change that PHP program so it formats the newly acquired data into HTML.
