Error message: Make sure that `gem install debug_inspector -v '0.0.2'` succeeds before bundling

Question

I am new to programming, and I have begun the process of installing Ruby on Rails. I have just tried creating my first project. However I am getting the message in the title whenever I try to bundle install in my project. I am using Windows.

When i attempt bundle install

When you see the message:

Gem::Ext::BuildError: ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.

it is likely that the native extensions cannot be built because some missing system library issue, or even your version of the Ruby/DevKit.

I am unfamiliar with Ruby on Windows, having made the switch to OSX when I first started working with Rails.
