Java IOException jaas.conf (File or Directory not present)

Question

I'm trying to create a Login using JAAS. I always get an IOException when the method, which calls the login() method, is called.

The method where I call the login() method:

        LoginContext lc = new LoginContext("LoginConfig", new CallbackHandler(name, password));
        lc.login();

I can't figure out what the problem is.

Looks like your jaas.conf can't be found.

Have you added this jvmArg?

java -Djava.security.auth.login.config=src/main/resources/jaas/jaas.config

You might have to change the path to your jaas.conf as the example is my path.
