How to create multiple tables (mysql) in one method?

Question

I'm programming in java and created a method which gets a String name and use it to create a table using the name. How to write the right query?

it complains for : ps.executeUpdate(); although I tried ps.executeQuery(); as well but it didn't work too.

First of all you have to correct your query syntax by removing the semicolon like String command = "create table '"+ name +"' Courses (Title VARCHAR(30), Unit text, Primary key (Title))";

And use Statement instead of Prepared statement....

Statement  stmt = conn.createStatement();

String command = "create table "+ name +"  (Title VARCHAR(30), Unit text, Primary key (Title))";

stmt.executeUpdate(sql);
