Extend Firebase SMS Expiration Time

Question

Is there a way to extend the Firebase SMS expiration time? Seems to only be valid about a minute or so and sometimes it takes longer than that to receive the SMS.

Consider this the latest answer for now, emailed and confirmed with firebase team support, today. Below's their reply:

The expiration time related to email links and OTP codes are defined as follows (there is no way to modify them):

Password reset: 1 hour,
Email change notice: 6 hours,
Email verification: 3 days,
Email link sign-in: 6 hours,
OTP code (phone auth): 15 minutes.
