I have the following image:
Converted to base64, it looks like this:

Now, my question is:
How can I retrieve the converted image and show it in jupyter notebook, without having to store it ?
Based on [this][2] question, I tried:

I don't know exactly, where your error comes from, but this works for me:
from PIL import Image
import io
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
# Take in base64 string and return a numpy image array
def stringToRGB(base64_string):
imgdata = base64.b64decode(base64_string)
image = Image.open(io.BytesIO(imgdata))
return np.array(image)
plt.imshow(stringToRGB(encoded_string))
One alternative is to make the browser take care of the decoding and just put the base64 string into an img tag:
