how to add design dependency in android studio?

I am getting problem in add a dependency in android studio. i want to add

com.android.support:design:28.0.0' to dependencies

but I am getting an error like this

    androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso-core:3.0.2'
    implementation 'com.google.android.material:material:1.0.0'

    implementation 'androidx.legacy:legacy-support-v4:1.0.0'
    implementation 'com.android.support:design:28.0.0'
    implementation 'com.android.support:support-v4:28.0.0'
}

You are using both androidx and android support library. Replace android support library with the existing androidx library.

  androidTestImplementation 'com.android.support.test.espresso:espresso-core:3.0.2'
    implementation 'com.android.support:design:28.0.0'
    implementation 'com.android.support:support-v4:28.0.0'
