Issue with VS code editor

I have been using VS code editor for working with C program. But while working with a program, my VS code editor asked for a reload and when the reload completed, I can't run my C program as the run Button on the top doesn't appear after reloading vs code.
As mentioned I checked with other programming languages such as Python and JavaScript are working fine. Yet only for the C program I can't find the run button on top.
Note: I have installed C/C++ extensions on VS code and also executed several programs for past few days. This problem occurs only after reloading my VS Code editor for once.
