Searching for license-free Python IDEs

I work in a private company and would like to automate some of my manual tasks using self-made python scripts.

The problem is: My company won't spend money for one of the stardard IDEs you'd use privately. That means that only license-free software would come into question. I came across things like PyCharm, but it doesn't clearly state that these things are license free.

Any suggestions what kind of IDE I could use which is license-free, legal and also doesn't raise suspition at my employer's help desk due to shadyness?

Visual Studio Code is free to download and use.
