KVM switch with dual monitors but laptop only have 1 hdmi output

Looking for recommendations if anyone has any advice for how we can possibly split the 1 HDMI output from from the laptop to use with a dual monitor KVM switch. Using a HDMI splitter only lets the monitors be mirrored and instead of being able to extend them and use each one as separate screen.

Here's the KVM we are using,https://www.amazon.com/Port-Dual-Monitor-Switch-HDMI/dp/B08DKX9SQS/ref=sr_1_13?crid=38T021CL84TZD&keywords=kvm%2Bswitch%2Bdual%2Bmonitor&qid=1638890567&s=electronics&sprefix=kvm%2Celectronics%2C202&sr=1-13&th=1

We looked into possibly using a plugable docking station but I don't believe this will work either.

Any recommendations would be great!

We figured out that the laptop has a USB-C port with display/powershare that we can use with an adapter to support the 2nd monitor from the laptop
