XAMPP 8.1.6 on G:/ drive on Windows 11 Pro 64bit not installing

Question

have XAMPP installed on my c:/ drive, working just fine. However, I want a second install, and want it on its own HD (formatted as g:/). When installing XAMPP to it, it stops and says there is already content on that drive. Not seeing anything on the explorer, and yes, hidden files are switched on. G:/ is a healthy Basic Data Partition (primary), partitioned at 930Gb NTFS.

Could use some insights and hopefully a solution.

Tried to install, was expecting a successful install.

Personally I haven't tried it but, you could make a copy of the current installation to that drive (G://) and try launching it? I have previously used two versions of XAMPP using this method. It might work in your case as well.
