Could not load file or assembly 'EntityFramework, Version=6.0.0.0 + Web API

Question

As part of the upgrading my Asp.net WebAPI I upgraded the EntityFramework to the latest version. I am getting the following error.

(Tried all the solutions posted on Stackoverflow nothing worked)

Could not load file or assembly 'EntityFramework, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

The problem was related to virtual directory. The project got mapped to wrong virtual directory.
