PIP install not working Debian

Question

I am setting up a new server and python is not installing correctly for any modules. This is debian 8, and I cant seem to get this to work. I am not sure if its an SSL issue or something else is going on.

Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: Here is what happens whey I try and run the get-pip script.

tmp$ python get-pip.py

try this :

cd /tmp
wget https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py
python get-pip.py
rm get-pip.py -f

then :

python -m pip install paramiko XlsxWriter
