I've got the following C# code that works just fine in VS. I'm new to Powershell and I'm having a hard time passing a string array to the Main method. (I'm getting a stupid error saying that my post is mostly code so I have to enter some more useless text. So, how's the weather where you're located?

$sourceFilePath = $home + "\cert_$env:username.pfx"
$cmd = "[FTPFileUpload.AsynchronousFtpUpLoader]::Main(**Need help here**)"
iex $cmd
As mentioned in the comments, you don't need Invoke-Expression
(or its alias iex
) to invoke the method - you just need to ensure you pass an array of strings as a single parameter argument to it:
[FTPFileUpload.AsynchronousFtpUpLoader]::Main(@($url, $sourceFilePath))
If you don't actually intend to launch this as a standalone console application, you might as well change the method signature:
public static void UploadFile(Uri target, string fileName)
{
ManualResetEvent waitObject;
FtpState state = new FtpState();
FtpWebRequest request = (FtpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(target);
request.Method = WebRequestMethods.Ftp.UploadFile;
// ... etc.
}
For a much less awkward invocation experience in PowerShell:
[FTPFileUpload.AsynchronousFtpUpLoader]::UploadFile($url, $sourceFilePath)
