Unabel to set up mssql on Ubuntu 18.04

Question

I have Ubuntu 18.04 running on Linux Sub system and have installed mssql.

However when running the setup like:

sudo /opt/mssql/bin/mssql-conf setup

I get the following message:

Message: Unable to create a new asynchronous I/O context. Please increase sysctl fs.aio-max-nr

I tried increasing that value in sysctl.conf.

However does not seam to work.

No to install mssql on Linux Sub system.

just start Microsoft SQL server on Windows and make queries to that.
