Socks5 connection problem on telegram android

Question

Because of censorship of telegram in my country I use proxies. Proxies(socks5) works fast on telegram desktop on windows but the same proxies doesn't work on telegram android on same.network and I have no idea why this problem occurs. Could you please help me about this problem? Thanks a lot.

You should double-check that you have the correct settings configured and as well as don't forget to select the "Use Socks5" option from the proxy type drop-down menu in your Telegram app for your proxy to work correctly. If this does not resolve the issue, then you may want to try using a different proxy server or different.network connection (ie mobile data instead of Wi-Fi).
